Our goal
We want everyone to be able to use Identity Explorer. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
How we check
On 25 September 2026 we ran Google Lighthouse 13.5.0 (mobile) on the home page, browse, a category page, a franchise page, a quiz page, the quiz itself, a results page and the dashboard, in English and Japanese. Every page scored 100 out of 100 for accessibility. We ran six of those pages again in each companion theme. That run found two colour-contrast problems on the quiz page; we fixed them, and those pages now score 100 in every theme too.
Automated tests catch only some problems. We also build with keyboard use, screen readers, colour contrast, reduced motion and text zoom in mind.
Known gaps
- We have not yet had a full manual audit with assistive-technology users.
- Some pages are in English only while their translation is on its way.
